These components can be integrated quickly and easily thanks to their compliance with the relevant standards for chokes, DIN EN 61558-2-20 and DIN EN 62041, as well as compliance with the glow wire requirements of all materials used in accordance with DIN EN 60335-1 and the use of insulation systems of insulation class B and F in accordance with UL 1446.

The "Active PFC choke series" is used in the DCM (Discontinuous Conduction Mode) and CCM (Continuous Conduction Mode) circuit topologies and meets all the requirements of renowned manufacturers of power regulators.

The inductance range is divided into application-oriented intermediate steps from 50 µH to 1,000 µH. Current values of up to 16.5 A are achieved at a frequency response of 500 kHz. By using high-quality enameled copper wire, the active PFC choke series achieves a very high impulse withstand voltage in the input range, so that intermediate circuit voltages of up to 600 V / DC are easily possible. The dielectric strength between the auxiliary and power windings is 2,000 volts or 2,500 volts from windings to core.
